
George Ronald “Ronnie” Daniel
George Ronald “Ronnie” Daniel, 71, an Oxford native passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Brantwood Nursing Home.
Ronnie was the son of the late George Roy and Louise Knott Daniel. He was a lifelong member of Hester Baptist Church. He graduated from J. F. Webb High School in 1967 and attended Hardbargers Business College. Ronnie was a loving brother and uncle.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford by Kerry Woodlief. Burial will be in Hester Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:45 PM prior to the service at Eakes Funeral Home and other times at the home, 513 Goshen St., Oxford, NC 27565
He is survived by his brother, Tommy Daniel (Janice) and sister, Faye Chappell (Steve) all of Oxford. He is also survived by two loving nephews, Scott Daniel (Alicia) of Oxford and Chance Chappell of Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Granville County Animal Shelter, 5640 Cornwall Rd. Oxford, NC 27565.

Tommy & family I am so sorry to read about Ronnie’s passing. Enjoyed seeing him at our class reunion.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Ronnie’s family at this time. Ronnie was such a special friend during high school and then I got married and moved away from Oxford and have only seen him several times since high school. I have many memories of Ronnie. So sorry of hear of his death.
Rest in Peace my friend, life was a ride we shared together , never forget that ride we took together in my Shelby GT 500 .Prayers for the Family at this moment of sorrow.May the Lord hold each of you in his arms with love.
