Larry Gene Roberts


Larry Gene Roberts, 68, passed away at his home in Florida on November 6th 2019.

Larry was born August 13, 1951 to Ted and Mary Ella Roberts. Larry was a native of Granville County for 53 years.

Funeral services will be held Thursday November 14, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. David Herman. Burial will be in Community Gardens in Stem.

He is survived by his wife Debbie Carter, brothers Owen T. Roberts (Carol), David M. Roberts and sister Patricia R. Hixson, mother Mary T. Roberts all of Creedmoor, nephews, Bryant Hixson and Eric Hixson, nieces Wendy Bowling Lauren Tate , ten great nieces and nephews , all of Creedmoor. He was also preceded in death by his niece Gina Hixson and his father Ted. Roberts.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:45 Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor.

    I am so sorry to hear about Larry. I got a chance to talk with him on the phone the last time he was home. He was glad I called to check on his Mom and he sounded so happy. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

    Patricia we are sorry to hear about Larry you and your family are in our thoughts and may not recognize the name ,my brothers Wayne and Lee Churchill have always thought a lot of you and we think about you often.You have cut mine and Waynes hair.take care.

    Brad and I were sorry to hear about Larry passing the day after his services. We have many fond memories of time spent with Larry years ago. We lift the entire family up in prayer and offer our condolences.

    Larry and I were close growing up. It is my deepest regret that I never knew his funeral and burial were in Stem, NC, as I would have attended. Deepest regrets! His cousin, Kathy
