Gwendolyn Turner McDuffie

 

Gwendolyn Turner McDuffie, 76, a resident of Chatham County passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at her home.

A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Daniel Turner and Elsie Hall. She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a business manager for McDuffie Construction.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, November 15, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Gray Rock United Methodist Church by Reverend Timothy Blomberg. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are three daughters; Kimberly Tingen (Melvin) of Hillsborough, Nancy Bromberg (Timothy) of Youngsville, Tracy Elliott (David) of Asheboro, a son; Nathan McDuffie (Cathy) of Bear Creek, twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren, step-son, Charles McDuffie, Jr., step-daughter, Amber McDuffie, sister, Nancy Cordell of Asheville, brothers, Charles Turner of Coleman, Harold Turner of New Orleans, John Turner of Durham, Jim Turner of Raleigh, Mac Turner of Wake Forest and Kenneth Turner of Youngsville. She was preceded in death by a son; Shawn McDuffie and her sister Reva Johnson.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 from 11:00-11:45 AM in the Gray Rock United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall and other times at the home.
