Lessie Parham Hilton-Fogle
The angels reached down and chose as one of their own a hard-working, long-suffering child of God, Lessie Parham Hilton-Fogle on Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was being treated for many health problems at Duke Raleigh Hospital. She was the daughter of and preceded in death by her parents, David A. (Jack) Parham and Mary Ann (Mae) Milton Parham.
A member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church since childhood, Lessie was also a faithful, supporting member, and regularly attended, as long as her health allowed, Unity Baptist Church, Youngsville.
Lessie graduated from Stovall High School and Fuller’s School of Business. She worked as a technician at JFD Manufacturing and as a decorator at Russell Stover Company in Clarksville, Virginia. She spent several years at Schrade Mfg. Company, Wake Forest, where she was blueprint interpreter for manufacturing. She relocated her employment to Oxford where she worked in banking for several years and for twenty-eight years held the position as office manager/transcriptionist at the firm of Manie P. Currin and Associates, LLC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 Friday, November 1, 2019 at Eakes Funeral Home Chapel, Clement Avenue, Oxford, with visitation preceding the service from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. Interment will follow in the Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
She is the mother of two daughters, Valerie Lynn Hilton Six-Williams and Kimberly Shea Hilton Wilson, and one son Boyd Kevin (and Donna) Hilton of Youngsville. She has grandsons Cody and Carson Hilton and Brian Six, step-grandsons, Zack and Josh Walker and seven great grandchildren. She is survived by sisters Manie Parham Currin, Annette Parham Myers and brothers Graham and Shane Parham, all of Oxford. Also surviving are eight nieces and nephews, and several grand-nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents are her husband, Robert Dale Fogle, brothers Lewis W. and David A. Parham, Jr., and sister Judith Parham Blackwell; a grandson, Kenneth Desmond Wilson, II, and a granddaughter, Ashley Ann Six.
Flowers will be appreciated, or contributions to Unity Baptist Church, Youngsville, will be a tribute of honor to Lessie.
