Sandra Kay Kolb Deal
Sandra Kay Kolb Deal, 74, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Duke Medical Center.
A native of Kansas, she was the daughter of late Clayton Kolb and Thelma Driskell Kolb. Sandy was a member of West Oxford Baptist Church and was an Actuarial Assistant in the Insurance Business.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 17, 2019 at West Oxford Baptist Church by Rev. Bruce Beck. Burial will be private.
Surviving are a daughter, Michele Poloncic (John) of Omaha, Nebraska; a son, Martin Deal (Jessica) of Oxford; five granddaughters, Kelsea, Samantha, Danielle, Molly, Sydney, one grandson, John and two great-grandchildren, Kolby and Harvey.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Oxford Baptist Church, P.O. Box 458, Oxford, NC 27565.

I will miss Sandy daily as I walk past her home. A kind and gentle person with a contagious giggle. Loved her cats and my dog too….her company will be missed by me greatly.
Sandy meant a lot to us in the neighborhood. She was so outgoing and enjoyed talking to people walking by. She loved her cats who followed her as she walked around the neighborhood. She will be missed.
So sorry Marty and Michelle about your mother. Just found out this week.
